Originally from Pennsylvania, Mary attended Temple University majoring in Film & Media Arts with a minor in English. After graduating, she moved to New York and began studying at SVA and the Upright Citizens Brigade in television writing and sketch comedy respectively. She became a member of various house teams at UCB before moving to Los Angeles to teach sketch at their west coast location. She was hired to write on the second season of Adam Ruins Everything. She’s also written and produced the short film PACT and the web series Last Two People on Earth and Pricks.
Since moving to Los Angeles she's taken up ceramics, fly-fishing and hiking to blend in. She does not miss the Northeast winters but she does miss the cheesesteaks.
